Nursery
Mountain Brook Presbyterian Church Nursery enables parents to participate in the life and worship of the church with confidence, knowing that their children are well cared for and safe. Mountain Brook Presbyterian Church Nursery provides an unconditionally loving environment for the children entrusted to our care. Through the nursery we hope to surround our children in a community of love and forgiveness that they may grow in their understanding of God's love.
A nursery is provided for all church services and many church-wide events and activities as needed.

The sessions are directed toward developing the faith of children between the ages of two and four. We offer them a learning experience that allows them not only to learn about the stories of their faith, but also live and play in them. This class meets in Room 109 next to the Nursery. The curriculum is based on Godly Play by Jerome W. Berryman.

(Nursery is provided for children birth to age 3 from 6:30 - 7:30.)
Godly Play (age 4-grade 6) 6:30-7:00
Godly Play is an experiential way of teaching. Bible stories are told very simply without interpretation or moral instruction. After a story is presented, the children and the storyteller wonder together about aspects of the story that draw their interest. The children then choose art supplies or other materials available to create or act out their response to the story. This method of spiritual formation invites personal involvement in the story, using a child's natural sense of imagination and wonder.
Jubilation Choir (age 4-grade 6) 7:00-7:30
Choir gives children the opportunity to use their voices in worshiping God. Through rhythm, movement, vocalization and working together as a group, children develop discipline and cooperation. They provide music in worship on the first Sunday of the month October through May and participate in various special services during the year.

(for grades 7-12)
The Youth Ministry at Mountain Brook Presbyterian Church provides a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship and mission.
